WHAT IS ARGAN SHEA SOS BALM?
SOS BALM is a nourishing and protective body balm for chapped and dry skin areas such as hands, cuticles, and elbows. This water-free and concentrated balm combines potent native plant oils such as argan oil, oat seed oil, and sea buckthorn pulp oil, moisturizing hyaluronic acid, protective plant butters from shea and cocoa, plant wax, and soothing extracts in a rich balm. Naturally vegan, >90% organic, natural, and palm oil-free.
SOS BALM smells fresh of lime and lemongrass and forms a protective film to prevent water loss (TEWL) and protect the skin from drying out all year round. The balm has a creamy consistency that melts into an oil on the skin, protecting and regenerating particularly chapped skin and dry areas such as hands, feet, heels, elbows, and knees.
Application: In the morning and evening (or as needed), melt a fingertip-sized amount of SOS balm between your fingertips and massage it onto dry, cracked skin.
- As a hand & nail balm: massage a small amount into the hand and cuticles
- As a treatment for rough skin: Massage the balm onto all particularly dry, rough skin areas such as feet and heels as well as elbows, shins or knees.
- As a tattoo balm, apply a small amount and massage it onto the tattoo as needed.
Bepure Tip: The balm absorbs faster into slightly damp skin. For a rich treatment, such as for your feet, massage the balm generously into your heels and toes overnight and go to bed with socks on. It may look a bit unusual, but your feet will be soft and supple the next morning.
Note: The balm is highly concentrated because we don't use water in the recipe. "A little goes a long way." You need much less than you're used to with previous creams.

Argan oil (organic)
Cold-pressed argan oil has a highly balanced composition of oleic acid, linoleic acid, and palmitic acid, as well as an exceptional amount of schottenol and tocopherols (vitamin E). Schottenol has demonstrated significant cell-stimulating effects in various studies. Argan oil also supports skin functions and provides deep nourishment to counteract the aging process.
2 moisturizing butters (organic)
Shea butter is rich in nutrients, vitamins A and E, and antioxidants with soothing, smoothing, and cell-regenerating properties. It penetrates deep into the skin and is ideal for dry and barrier-damaged skin.
Cocoa butter soothes and softens irritated, chapped, and dry skin. It binds moisture to the skin and has a protective and moisturizing effect.
Avocado oil promotes cell regeneration and is particularly suitable for the care of dry, chapped, or barrier-damaged skin. The yellowish-green oil has an exceptionally high content of phytosterols, phospholipids (lecithin), and fat-soluble vitamins A, E, and D and is well tolerated even by sensitive or problematic skin conditions.
Candelilla wax: Plant-based waxes add strength to balms and ensure the formula remains stable even in warmer temperatures. Candelilla wax has a pronounced occlusive effect and is an excellent protective ingredient for balms.
Squalane (vegan) Squalane is produced in the body and is a natural component of sebum-producing cells (approximately 15%). Derived from olives or sugar cane, this colorless, non-greasy oil creates a remarkably silky and soft feel on the skin. It spreads easily on the skin and aids the absorption of the other active ingredients in the formula.
Oat seed oil is one of the heroes of this formula, boasting soothing and nourishing properties. It has a yellowish color and a high content of oleic, linoleic, and palmitic acids. It's rich in phytosterols, antioxidants, and carotenoids and helps restore the skin's barrier function. It's also an excellent choice for sensitive or itchy, inflamed skin.
Sea buckthorn pulp oil softens and smooths chapped, dry, or tight skin, promotes cell renewal, and promotes wound healing. Sea buckthorn pulp oil is a powerful active ingredient, and just a few drops are sufficient in this formula.
Jojoba oil provides long-lasting protection against water loss and is especially appreciated for dry and mature skin. The subtly scented oil is extremely well-tolerated and easily absorbed. Jojoba oil is a very stable base oil and stabilizes the other oils in the formula.
Hyaluronic acid effectively binds moisture to the skin. Skin firmness is improved. The skin is smoother, more supple, and more elastic. Wound healing is also improved and the skin barrier is strengthened.
Calendula and chamomile extracts have a restorative and soothing effect on dry or chapped skin. Skin that is particularly in need of care, such as on the feet, rough elbows, or knees, is protected from drying out.
Vitamin E: Added as an antioxidant to extend the shelf life of the butters and oils contained.

The balm has a shelf life of 2 years (best before 11/2025).
Packaging: High-quality violet glass guarantees longer shelf life and intense freshness. The violet glass blocks the entire spectrum of visible light, except for the violet component. This delays the aging process triggered by visible light. Longer shelf life and freshness of products are guaranteed.
Storage: At warmer temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius, the balm may soften. This does not affect its effectiveness.
Origin: The argan oil contained in this product comes from Morocco. The product is manufactured in a certified laboratory in Germany.
