How everything is created socially and greenly

For you, it's not just about skincare being good for you, but also for the rest of the world? Here, no animal is harmed, every step of the process is fairly compensated, and the environment is protected.

“Everyone says so…”

To ensure this works, we know the people involved personally and know exactly "where the fruits of your care ripen." The organically certified oils are produced in a family business in Marrakech. The bottles are bottled in Switzerland.

At the work integration center in Winterthur, your bottle will then be fitted with its “name tag” and prepared for its journey to you.

Sustainable raw materials - conscious use of raw materials

Sustainability begins with the careful use of resources. We rely on natural and safe ingredients for the body. The main ingredients in our formulas, such as argan and prickly pear seed oil, as well as rose and neroli flower water, come from organic farming (certified by Ecocert COSMOS) in Morocco.

The roots of the argan tree, for example, are buried up to 30 meters deep in search of water and minerals, thus preventing the desert from encroaching into the interior of the country.

But how exactly does the production process work?

We produce in small batches to ensure that we can offer pure, clean and always fresh natural products.

Conventional cosmetic products are formulated to last at least 30 months, or 2.5 years or more, and are mass-produced all at once. This makes sense when the focus is on optimizing business results.

Our focus is on creating high-quality, effective, unique, and yet gentle products that contain no additives. All bepure products are 100% free of synthetic preservatives, stabilizers, and other additives that are typically used to stabilize and extend the shelf life of conventional cosmetic products.

Another advantage of producing smaller batches is that we have closer control over the manufacturing process. This starts with the purchasing of raw materials or containers and helps us respond to demand in a more resource-efficient way. This way, we don't throw away valuable products, and our customers receive fresh products. Our motto: "Quality over quantity."

In Morocco

  • The argan almonds are painstakingly extracted by hand by Berber women and then stored in a dry place until they are sent to the laboratory. The Berber women are paid directly by our producer above the market average. There are no middlemen. The women receive a secure and fair additional income and thus the opportunity to work independently.

  • Here, upon arrival at the laboratory, the fresh argan almonds are checked and cleaned again.
  • Only then are they gently cold-pressed by machine (not heated above 50 degrees).
  • In our GMP ISO 22716 certified laboratory, our care products are produced on 970 sqm under strict organic cosmetic guidelines using the latest equipment.

In Germany

  • The 2030 sqm laboratory, which specializes in water-free natural cosmetics, prepares your bottle for its journey to you in a resource-efficient and low-CO2 manner.
  • Since 2017, the entire production has been powered by electricity from renewable energies.
  • Our products are shipped CO2 neutrally.

In Switzerland

  • With more than 20 years of expertise in natural cosmetics, our laboratory in Switzerland meets the highest quality standards in the industry (such as ISO 22716:2007 (GMP).

  • Only Swiss machines are used, which are powered by electricity from renewable energies and spring water from the mountains.

When it comes to transport, production and packaging, the rule is: only the essentials, without compromise.

  • We deliberately choose the smaller prickly pear growing area in Morocco because sourcing from Mexico would involve more transport.
  • No unnecessary packaging or package inserts that nobody reads and just end up in the trash.
  • All shipping is CO2 neutral thanks to 100% recyclable and degradable packaging.
  • The MIRON glass is manufactured using alternative energy, is made from natural raw materials, and is 100% recyclable. When your bottle is empty, it is gently recycled via the amber glass.
  • Pipettes, pump dispensers, etc. are made from 50% recycled material.
  • Shipping between our locations is carried out in reusable boxes.
  • In violet glass, the oils are longer-lasting than in amber or blue glass, for example, and have a higher bioenergetic value. So, quality, efficacy, texture, and smell—all of these are better, without any preservatives.

We also support the organization Education for All Morocco with a portion of our revenue. Our collaboration with EFA Morocco is very important to us because the organization offers girls ages 12-18 from the High Atlas mountain region the opportunity to pursue further education. We believe that "the children of today are the future of tomorrow."

We are both parents of two children ourselves and want to give them every possible education and thus every opportunity for the future. Parents in Morocco certainly want the same for their little ones, but they don't have the same opportunities as we do. With your order, you're doing good for many people and can therefore smile in the mirror for several reasons!

In the newsletter you will get even more tips and information about your skin type, social contribution and the production of your skincare.
