The magic of the rose 🌹
In the month of June It's all about the rose, as the annual rose water production takes place in the southern region of Morocco in June.
The laborious manual work takes place a little earlier, because the rose harvest takes place in the months of May to June, when the rose blossoms are laboriously picked by hand by Berber women before sunrise for three weeks.
The Valley of Roses lies at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains. The water used to distill our rose water flows from the Atlas Mountains into the Dades Gorge, enriching it with its minerals.
Plant with healing properties
The Damask rose is a plant with healing properties and symbolizes love and connection. Its unique scent opens the heart and is a balm for the soul.
Rose has anti-inflammatory properties and soothes sensitive and reddened skin. Pure rose water is wonderfully refreshing, moisturizing, and gently mattifies. It also helps maintain the skin's pH balance.
Our rose water is a 100% pure hydrosol. It contains no alcohol, water, or perfume.
When buying rose water, please always pay attention to the INCI list (usually on the back of the product), because many diluted sprays sold as rose water should not be used on your face, at most over your clothing on your body.
Try our rose water beauty hacks:
1. Pure argan oil mixed with rose water is ideal for removing makeup.
2. Rose water mixed with Soothing Nectar Hyaluron Serum provides sufficient moisture to dry or dehydrated skin and is ideal as a daily care product in warmer temperatures.
3. Rose water stored in the refrigerator gives the skin an additional freshness boost.
4. For tired or puffy eyes (possibly from hay fever), try rosewater eye pads. To do this, generously spray two cotton pads with rosewater and place them over your closed eyes for a few minutes. This instantly relaxes and soothes irritated eyes and is a soothing treat for your mind.
The ultimate summer hack for a fresh kick is DIY rose water ice cubes for your neck, décolleté or wrists.
