GUEST BLOG: SONRISA X bepure - This Swiss beauty brand is a must-know for all clean beauty fans (with competition)

You know, June will be a very special month, because bepure is turning 10 ! 🌸

As announced in the last newsletter, we have a great surprise for you because we would like to give you appreciation and joy in return!

There's a big beauty giveaway on Sonrisa's beauty blog where you have the unique chance to win bepure products worth CHF 250 – pure wellness moments from head to toe! Hop on over, because you can enter until June 10th. Good luck!

In addition, the wonderful Katrin from Sonrisa writes about our success story of the last 10 years, which really touches me when I read it.

Not least because I met Katrin at the beginning of bepure and greatly value her expertise as a journalist and beauty blogger. We experienced one of our milestones together – last June, Katrin presented me with the Small Beauty Business Award for Soothing Nectar (winner in the serum category).

Thank you, dear Katrin! Here's the article:

"There are things that get better with age. The "Neverfull" bag from Louis Vuitton, for example, is one of them for me. Friendships where you can say anything without words (hi CC, I love you!) and beauty lines that don't follow every hype but shine with quality and consistency.

Be Pure is one such case: The team behind the Swiss natural cosmetics brand has relied on in-depth knowledge, years of experience, and minimalist skincare formulas since day one, as co-founder Kathleen recently explained to me. " Be pure stands for less, but pure, highly effective ingredients. »

Be Pure's success story began, by the way, with a trip around the world, a longer stopover in Africa, and the dream of offering their own beauty products that are good for both the skin and the environment. Ten years have passed since then, and a lot has happened, as the background information (including a competition!) about bepure show.

From Marrakech to the bathroom: The story of bepure

If there were a film about Be Pure, it would probably begin with the protagonist waking up in an old camper van: with sand in her hair, sun on her face and the vague vision that this one oil that was dripped onto her hand yesterday at the market in Marrakech will soon determine her future.

" I had been searching for a good skincare product for a long time that would work for my problem skin, with sensitive and oily areas on my face. I found the right product through argan oil in Morocco, after several months of caring for my skin with argan oil daily. This sowed the seed for my own cosmetics line ," says Kathleen about the circumstances that ultimately led to the founding of bepure – financed by the VW bus that somehow started it all.

Ahead of its time

In 2014, when hardly anyone was talking about clean beauty, bepure had already launched the first products that completely avoided synthetic fragrances, silicones, parabens and mineral oils as well as water and other fillers.

The result was a skincare line that neither pretends to turn back the clock nor makes dubious promises. Instead, it simply says: "You're good just the way you are. We'll take care of the rest."

Today this is a trend.

Back then it was pioneering work.

Committed in every respect

The argan almonds for Be Pure are hand-processed by Berber women in a small family business in Marrakech under fair conditions and according to traditional practices. Be Pure also supports the NGO Education for All Morocco, which provides girls in remote regions of the country with a quality education.

In other words: Be Pure stands for sustainability and commitment that you can touch – and, of course, apply.

You see, darling, there are many good reasons to congratulate the Be Pure team and celebrate together. But while the birthday girl or boy usually receives a gift, here the opposite is the case: To celebrate Be Pure's tenth anniversary, Kathleen and Fabian have provided me with an exclusive beauty set worth approximately CHF 250 for today's raffle.

No glitter paper, no icing, but with lots of love from the Be Pure team and a self-care kit in which you will find everything you need for a deluxe skincare ritual:

All terms and conditions of the bepure anniversary raffle at a glance
