Oil for oily skin?
Customers are often skeptical, but after two months, they're convinced. It sounds strange, but it makes sense: Your skin produces sebum to protect itself. Oily skin produces particularly high levels of sebum, which leads to shine and blemishes. Light textures like fluids or serums can dry out the skin and stimulate sebum production.
Oil, on the other hand, acts like a stop sign for the skin, which then feels sufficiently moisturized and produces less sebum. It's important to use the right oil, as many oils can clog pores. However, our oils are compatible, even for sensitive skin.
Removing makeup with oil?
TheOil Cleansing Methodis gentle and effective. Oil not only removes makeup, but also dirt and excess sebum without drying out the skin. Many facial cleansers contain surfactants and alcohol, which remove the skin's protective oil layer. This layer protects against external influences and water loss. If it's missing, the skin can become dry.
Why is your argan oil more expensive than other argan oils?
We get asked this question frequently. There are several reasons for this:
1. There are significant differences in the quality of argan oil, and we only want the best. We often receive argan oil samples from various manufacturers and find that the consistency, scent, and skin feel differ greatly from our argan oil.
2. We only produce in small batches. Always freshly pressed and of the highest quality. That comes at a price.
3. The price of argan oil has tripled in recent years, especially since the coronavirus pandemic.
